Hermes Baby Orange Typewriter 70s Script Font !

Photos  from my desk

Here is the 70's or 60's Elephant that I bought from the same seller together with the typewriter.
They travelled in the same box but I don't think that the Elephant had a lot to write during the trip :)

And here are the original auction Photos, yes I know much better than mines !!!

  1. Wow! Very, very nice. I am quite envious as I have been keeping an eye out for a Hermes script machine and still no luck :) Anyway, yours writes very well. The Hermes script typeface differs from others in that the capital letters are not really script, although the small letters are nicely joined up. Glad you like it!

    1. Hi

Very beautiful orange hermes baby. Absolutely love the font too. I just started to collect typewriters and have been looking for a cursive font hermes. I absolute love the orange.

Any chance you will be selling off this one? :)

  4. drool drool...I have two script machines, an Olympia and a Smith-Corona, and it's amazing how different they are. My one Hermes is so nice to use that I really want to find a Baby or Rocket.
Here's what script looks like on the Olympia:

  5. Hey notagain :)
Thanks for sharing your great samples ! You are entirely right each typeface seems to be unique to a certain manufacturer. Here in Europe seems to be very tough to find script typewriters but glad that I could get one !

  9. I know this is a couple years later, but do you happen to sell this beautiful Hermes? Or perhaps know of a similar one for sale I could get my hands on? I am dying to have one and I can't seem to find any where I live :)
