  1. Thanks, David -- this is quite interesting for two reasons: the large, very vertical typeface, and the obviously very late Swissa. It looks like it was made around 1970. It's still the same Patria design, though.

  2. Another thing is that the keytops are virtually identical to those of the plastic Hermes Baby... interesting.

    It's quite jarring aesthetically though - all those straight lines and sharp corners! At least the Hermes Baby retained some curves even in its very last incarnations. This is like the small version of the last (plastic boxy) Hermes 3000.

  4. I think "Plakatschrift" corresponds to "display" in English. I am researching the Swissa and Patria typewriter family. Would you be so kind as to state the serial number of the Swissa, as well as the hermes Baby?
